Delicate, black ink tattooing is Stefani Stitt’s specialty. Stefani runs Heal Your Heart, a local project that helps those suffering with depression and self harm to cover their scars from the past so they may have a happier, pain-free future.
Tattoo art is a bit of a family tradition for Stefani. “My mother is a tattoo artist, so I grew up as part of the culture and naturally fell into it when I came of age,” says Stefani. “Tattooing has saved me from so many hardships in my life, I could not imagine a life without this art in it.”
Stefani’s Heal Your Heart project has helped hundreds of struggling people to move on from the darkness of their past in hopes to heal for a brighter future through tattoo art. “I make it my life’s goal to help those who trust me with their skin,” she says. “I do that both in the Heal Your Heart project and out of it. I help others feel more confident in themselves and give them the most beautiful work that I can produce.”
