Event: Opera Tutti Presents “The True Story of Cinderella”
When: Sunday, February 3, 2019 2pm
About: Take an operatic romp through this slightly fractured fairy tale! Performed annually to an almost cult following at Westminster Choir College, The True Story of Cinderella is a comic, oratorio style, mini opera. The composer, the late Warren Martin was a beloved professor at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.
Event: Curtis On Tour Vocal Program “American Songbook”
When: Saturday, February 9, 2019 7pm
About: Grounded in the school’s “learn by doing” philosophy, it offers students real-world, professional touring experience alongside celebrated alumni and faculty. Since the program was established in 2008, students, faculty, and alumni have performed more than 300 concerts in over 90 cities in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Curtis on Tour is the Nina von Maltzahn global touring initiative of the Curtis Institute of Music.
Event: Live the Stream: The Story of Joe Humphreys
When: Monday, February 11, 2019 6pm
About: Join us for a fundraising event and screening of the award-winning documentary Live The Stream: The Story of Joe Humphreys. Includes hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, merchandise, raffles, and meet & greet after the film with Joe Humphreys. Trout streams are fountains of youth for 87-year-old Joe Humphreys: a man who was born to fly fish, lives to teach, and strives to pass on a respect for our local waters. Far more than a fly fishing film, this character story about the one-of-a-kind Joe Humphreys is an emotional and powerful narrative about aging, family, friendships, and the power of positive influence, told by a man who has followed his calling for an entire lifetime.

Event: Jazz Cocktail Hour: Paula Johns Presents “The Look Of Love” – A Tribute to Burt Bacharach & Dionne Warwick
When: Friday, February 15, 2019 7pm
About: You’ll hear songs like, Alfie, What the World Needs Now, Valley of the Dolls, The Look of Love, I Say A Little Prayer, and many other familiar and not so familiar songs. We’ll recount the relationships between Burt Bacharach & Dionne Warwick, as well as Dusty Springfield, Streisand, Marlene Dietrich, Elvis Costello & many other singers he worked with throughout his amazing career that ran from the late 1950s through the 2000s, many in collaboration with popular lyricist Hal David.

Event: World Cafe Live Presents Live At The Fillmore – The Definitive Tribute to the Original Allman Brothers Band

About: Hailed by reviewers from the New York Times to the San Francisco Chronicle for his “thrilling” and “unique” piano playing, Kenny White is a talented singer/songwriter and a successful NYC-based record producer. He has written, performed, and produced music for hundreds of TV and radio commercials as well as film soundtracks, and has worked with stars like Keith Richards, Merle Haggard, and Linda Ronstadt.
Event: Follow Your Dreams – Second Annual WC Studio Children’s Gala
When: Saturday, March 16, 2019 1-4pm
About: The WC Studio second annual Children’s Gala will include performances by the Professional Youth Program, Uptown Singers, West Chester Studio Singers, Broadway Kids Cabaret and Broadway Kiddos. In addition, guests are invited to enjoy a reception and silent auction while their children attend theatre games hosted by our professional theatre staff.
Event: The Celtic Tenors
When: Sunday, March 17, 2019 2pm & 7pm
About: The charismatic, globe trotting trio are the most successful classical crossover act to emerge from Ireland. They just sing songs they love, and they most certainly don’t take themselves too seriously. It’s all about the music, the harmonies and the fun. The Celtic Tenors will perform songs such as Danny Boy, You Raise Me Up, Nessum Dorma, and other such favorites.

Event: Jazz Cocktail Hour: Mike Boone Quartet with Jazz prodigy Mekhi Boone
When: Thursday, March 21, 2019 6:30pm
About: Bassist Mike Boone’s jazz story began when he was just eight years old. After attending the finest schools of music, touring with legendary performers like Buddy Rich and Ben Vereen, and recording with many more, he settled into the Philadelphia jazz scene. Here, he plays with luminaries such as saxophonist Tony Williams, pianist Trudy Pitts, WCU’s John Swana as well as pride and joy, jazz prodigy and son, drummer Mekhi Boone. He teaches at Temple University and frequently tours with Ben Vereen and Jazz Organist, Joey DeFrancesco.
Event: RTC Presents Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
When: Friday, March 29, 2019 – Sunday, April 14, 2019
About: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, based on the popular 1988 film, takes us to the French Riviera for high jinks and hilarity. Sophisticated and suave with a good dash of mischief, this hysterical comedy features a delightfully jazzy score by David Yazbek (The Full Monty) and was nominated for a staggering eleven Tony Awards.
