    Authentic: Angeline May, WomenWillpower

Angeline May is passionate about helping women to understand and embrace their value so they can make a greater impact as business owners and as leaders. Because the potential of that changemaking impact is exponential, she founded WomenWillpower—an alliance of people who believe in helping women thrive.

Angeline’s journey reflects this search for value and impact. As a student at West Chester Friends School, she absorbed the formative values of equality, community, and stewardship. The creation of a foundation after her brother’s tragic death helped her begin to see possibilities for opportunity in the midst of challenge. After graduating from a women’s college, she traveled and worked in finance and business management while also studying art and design. “I was thoroughly immersed in both spaces,” she says, “but I thought those diverse interests were a weakness.”

As a business owner, she’s also felt alone and in need of help. “I didn’t want to admit what I didn’t know,” she says. “Then I realized I knew women who had solved these problems and they wanted to help me!”

In launching WomenWillpower, Angeline has hit that sweet spot where her values, passions, and experience converge. “I’ve always loved connecting people and bringing ideas to life. As participants help each other grow, it changes the story for all of us.”

The members are focused on growth, mentoring, and collective empowerment. “We gather in small circles and follow a carefully crafted format that fosters respect and a positive flow of engagement,” she says. “We share our stories. We celebrate our value. What quickly comes to light is the tremendous impact we’ve already made (hint: it’s more than you think) and the connections in the room—to build our future.”

WomenWillpower offers membership, a small- business-impact track, and an expert corps who share their knowledge and experience. Angeline invites women to try a session using the link: womenwillpower.com/attend, or call 610.291.3972.
