Did you know that Fig magazine is designed by Fig Industries, a design and marketing studio located in Lancaster City on South Duke Street?
Fig Industries was founded on humble beginnings in the attic of an old farmhouse 20 years ago by owner Deborah Brandt upon her return to Lancaster after a stint in NYC. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a heart for fostering community, Deb began working with businesses in Lancaster as well as clients from her days in the NYC fragrance and cosmetic package design world.
Today, Fig Industries specializes in ideas that change perceptions, move brands forward, and bring dreams to life. Our team of designers, thinkers, and marketers are knowledgeable, thoughtful, and wildly creative. Some might call us curious. We call ourselves curiously creative. And why not, it’s only in thinking differently that different things will happen.
It’s been quite a journey, but one thing hasn’t changed; we’ve stayed true to our mission of “Design for good,” creating positive change for our clients and our communities. In spring of 2019, we verified that mission by becoming a Certified B Corporation, a designation that measures our social and environmental impact.
Today, as we celebrate a milestone of 20 years in business and the 15th anniversary of Fig Magazine, we’ve found that our greatest joy comes from serving our clients while simultaneously using our gifts to make a difference in the lives and businesses of the clients we’ve come to know as friends. With that, we would like to introduce you to our team of passionate creatives who put our ideas to work for good companies with great causes every day.
