About the Meet me at the Well Foundation
Meet me at the Well was founded by Amy Day in 2014 as an answer to the limited victim support services available to survivors of sex-trafficking in Delaware. Amy’s vision established Meet me at the Well as a beacon of strength and support for victims of sex trafficking, providing essential services in the various stages of their recovery journey. Meet me at the Well programs include homesteading, mentoring, and educational scholarships for victims, community education programs for prevention and awareness; our priority goal is to open a rescue home. Amy’s passion continues to live on in the work of current board members, which includes her mother, Cheri Collins (Services Chair), and our many volunteers.

The King & I Musical by Rodgers & Hammerstein
Unionville High School is proud to present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic Broadway musical, The King & I, with performances on March 15th, 16th and 17th at 7:00pm. A moving and radiant tale of East meets West, The King & I will be brought to life for the community with an enchanting mixture of irresistible story, unforgettable songs, breathtaking dance numbers, and astonishing stagecraft.
It is 1862 when newly widowed Anna Leonowens and her son, Louis, sail from their native England for Bangkok, Siam (now Thailand). Anna set her sights on a new adventure and accepted a position as the schoolteacher for the King of Siam’s many children and wives. The King is largely considered to be a barbarian by rulers in the West, so he asks for Anna’s assistance to change his image, if not his ways. Anna and the King struggle to find common ground. While both keep a firm grip on their respective traditions and values, Anna and the King eventually teach each other about understanding, respect, and love that can transcend the greatest of differences.

West Chester Studio presents: Love’s Labour’s Lost
Teens performing Shakespeare? That’s right! They love it and you will too! It’s a POP ROCK MUSICAL!
Romance, revelry and an infectious pop score ignite in this contemporary, yet lovingly faithful, musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s comedy. The King and his best buds decide to swear off women. But when four cute, clever girls from their past show up, they’re forced to reconsider all of that nonsense! Add in an outlandish Spanish exchange student and a performance art-loving professor, love and devotion are put to the test with hilarious results.

Let Freedom Sing, The Mainliners Men’s A Cappella Chorus & Victory Belles
The championship Mainliners chorus has been entertaining fans with great a cappella music for more than 55 years. In “Let Freedom Sing”, they pay a stirring tribute to the valiant men and woman of the USO, and the vital role they’ve played in lifting the spirits of our armed forces. Joining them in this tribute will be the “The Victory Belles,” adding their eye popping, ear-pleasing artistry to this feel-good extravaganza that promises to rock the Uptown.
The Victory Belles are a delightful vocal trio performing the music of the 1940s, serenading audiences at The National WWII Museum and across the globe. The music of the 1940s brought hope and joy to our GIs and those on the Home Front alike—and the Victory Belles keep that tradition alive in rich, three-part harmony. Their repertoire includes all the treasured gems of the WWII era plus patriotic classics including a musical salute to each branch of the US armed forces.

Fiddler Michael Cleveland’s blistering prowess and technical fluency have since marked him as a sought-after musician, leading to performances with Vince Gill, Marty Stuart, Tim O’Brien and more in recent years. However, it wasn’t until 2006, when Michael formed his own band, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, that he found the right vehicle for his musical vision, and he hasn’t rested since, constantly looking for new ways to push himself and his music forward.

Back by popular demand, vocalist V. Shayne Frederick and The Paul Giess Quintet combine forces to present an energetic, toe-tapping experience.
Both regularly play in notable jazz venues in Philly and beyond. Trumpeter and band leader Paul Giess’s musical vocabulary includes the spiritual sounds of New Orleans Jazz. He brings the groove while Frederick can be counted on for his engaging tone and personality. Women’s Roundtable Series: Votes for Women: A Visual History
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment that granted women the right to vote! But do you really know all the work that went into such an important movement?
This once-in-a-lifetime Women’s Roundtable will feature five objects from the Brandywine River Museum of Art’s exhibition Votes for Women: A Visual History. These objects reveal how the “look” of women’s rights developed and the important visual strategies that propelled the campaign – strategies that provided a model for later activism including the civil rights and social justice movements.
Featuring Amanda Burdan, Curator of the Brandywine River Museum of Art
